Taking Print Seriously

In this age of the WEB, it is nice to read that some people are still taking print seriously. In Lloyd Gove’s article, he writes about how Katharine Weymouth is attempting to “reinvent the industry” at the Washington Post. In that article, Last Media Tycoon, Lloyd writes about Katharine Weymouth’s vision to make the paper smaller. He continues this thought by revealing her intentions to make the paper smaller by being pickier about the stories they will print in the paper.

I am interested to see if they will pick stories that are more meaningful to their readers. Perhaps with this strategy, Katharine Weymouth might be considering quality stories that might reinvent new readers. I am curious to know, what types of new stories she is considering for the Washington Post make-over.
