Web Journalism

Like so many of their predecessors, journalist must pair the great spirit of their story with the efforts of their work, to make a meaningful article. Of course, there is a lot of work involved in getting a story correct, even for Web-journalist. Dan Gillmor wrote Helping the Almost-Journalists Do Journalism, and what a wonderful article that nails the journalism Code of Ethics right on the head. It got me thinking about the watch dogs for poor journalism or inaccurate reporting. In the Web Article, Gillmor discusses good, factual reporting from unlikely sources and it begs a good read.
